A trip to the snow-capped mountains of Pearblossom was in store for our first race weekend of the season. Saturday was the UCLA Road Race, which featured podium finishes by Ruben Saatjian and Luke Sheltraw, and strong top-5s by Deryn LeDuke and Alessandro Cirulli against a fit and competitive UCLA Cycling roster. On Sunday, Cami Kittredge brought home our team's first win of 2022 in the Women's Category C criterium! LeDuke, Saatjian, and Cirulli each earned themselves another spot in the top 5, with Dennis Liang and Alberto Santos Davidson rounding out the podium in the Collegiate D and B categories respectively. This weekend served as many of our members' introduction to racing, and left all of them eager to resume training for more events this season.
