Hello Dragon Coalition Fans!

This past weekend, D-Co wrapped up an incredible season at Nationals in Burlington, WA, finishing tied for 9th in the country! After months of hard work, growth, and grit, we took the field against the best teams in the nation and showed everyone what Dragon Coalition ultimate is all about.

Day 1 started with a bang as we faced off against our longtime rivals Cal Poly SLO Motion. We came out energized and focused, executing clean offense and stifling defense to earn a decisive 15-9 victory. That momentum carried into our next game against the reigning national champions, UNC Pleiades. In one of the most thrilling games of our season, D-Co battled point for point, culminating in a universe point finish—and we came out on top, 13-12! It was an unforgettable win and a testament to our resilience and teamwork.

Day 2 brought more fierce competition as we took on the top-seeded UBC Thunderbirds. We played with heart and determination, keeping pace with one of the most talented squads in the country, but UBC ultimately secured the win 15-11. Still, we weren’t done. In our final pool play game, we faced UPenn Venus and bounced back strong, taking control early and sealing a 15-9 victory to claim second place in our pool. Our final game of the tournament came in prequarters against Stanford Superfly. It was an intense and emotional game, with both teams laying it all on the line. We fought hard through every point, but Stanford edged us out 15-13, ending our Nationals run.

While our journey ended earlier than we hoped, we’re so proud of what we accomplished. From fierce rivalries to universe point thrillers, every moment at Nationals was a reflection of our dedication and love for the game.
