UC San Diego Field Hockey proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Triton Classic Field Hockey Tournament this past weekend, welcoming a day full of competitive energy, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The Tritons kicked off the morning on a high note with a 3-2 victory over Jamba Juice. Though they faced a tough loss in their second game against MYTO, the team bounced back with determination, dominating their third match with a 4-1 win over Robeks. Their strong performance earned them a spot in the championship game, where they fought hard but ultimately placed second overall.

The tournament was a showcase of skill, hustle, and teamwork from start to finish. Standout performances from James Polashock and goalie Katelyn Kennedy. The team showed cohesive passing, sharp communication, and good sportsmanship throughout the day. The Triton Classic once again brought together a community of passionate players and supporters, and UCSD Field Hockey is excited to see how the tournament will grow in the following years.
