    10/7/24 - Men’s Lax scrimmage against SDLC

The UCSD Tritons faced off against the San Diego Lacrosse Club (SDLC) in a tightly contested game under a thick fog that blanketed the field. In the end, SDLC managed to secure a 7-4 victory, but the Tritons showed promising potential, especially considering they only had one practice leading up to this matchup.

Despite the final score, the game remained competitive throughout. Both teams traded goals early on, with UCSD's defense stepping up to keep SDLC’s skilled offense at bay. However, SDLC pulled away in the final minutes with a few clutch plays that tipped the balance in their favor.

The UCSD Tritons looked sharp, thanks largely to a strong incoming freshman class that immediately made an impact. These newcomers showed their skill and adaptability, proving that they’ll be valuable additions to the squad moving forward. The entire team displayed resilience, energy, and cohesion—traits that, with more practice, should set the Tritons up for success in the season ahead. While the fog added an extra challenge to visibility, both teams battled hard, showcasing intense play and solid strategy. UCSD’s performance was encouraging, hinting at a promising season filled with potential.
