A pair of hat tricks from sophomore Alex Nakashima and freshman Luca Tartaglia, in his debut for Triton hockey, led the Tritons to a 7-5 victory over UC Davis, alongside a strong performance by freshman goalie Matthew Mahlow in his own debut game. The Tritons dominated offensively throughout the game, with Nakashima's explosive scoring and Tartaglia's poised finishes keeping UC Davis on the defensive.
