Our Tritons played a beautiful game to finish off playoff weekend in the game for third place. It was a competitive game, with our Tritons making beautiful passing plays but being unable to convert on their possessions. Although we had a close shot on an offensive counterattack toward the end of the game, the game finished 0-0. Our team matched UCSB's physicality with composure in the overtime period, with goalie Katelyn Kennedy making beautiful saves in the air. With the game tied 0-0 after overtime, teams went to 1-vs-1s with the goalie, where our team lost 3-1. While we didn't come away with the results we wanted, our Tritons fought for every possession and ball and played as a team beautifully. Thanks for following the season and go Tritons!
