UCSD Dominates in Win Against Cal Poly

In an exhibition match against Cal Poly Pomona, UCSD had a taste of what NorCal has to offer and is ready for more. Despite having an intense game and winning against USC the day before, UCSD remains fierce for their NorCal foe. Forward player Paula Donaldson made a headline for herself as her hits were full of both power and accuracy which left the enemy team startled as the ball went into goal. Forward player Anna McQuarrie wanted a score for herself so after moments of aggression and quick maneuvers, the game came down to a 1 versus 1 between her and the opposing goalie. It was no surprise that UCSD scored another goal! Despite the best efforts of defense, Cal Poly Pomona scored one goal on UCSD with a lucky hit but Katelyn Kennedy knew the game was more than just luck. As goalie Katelyn Kennedy faced enemy forwards head on, she refused to allow another score no matter how close they got. Her remarkable skills and support from her team allowed the game to end with a final score of 4 to 1. UCSD enjoyed their time with Cal Poly Pomona and welcomes any new challengers.
