On October 23th the team traveled to Hoover High School to take on the SDSU Aztecs in a Saturday double-header. Game 1 was a pitcher’s duel until the bottom of the fourth when the Aztecs plated 3 runs on 4 singles and an error. The Tritons battled back in the top of the 7th, but it wasn’t enough and the Aztecs took Game 1 by a score of 6-3.

Game 2 was a low scoring game, with both teams failing to execute with runners in scoring position. The Tritons were down early, but battled in the 3rd and 4th innings to pull ahead 3-2. The lead was short lasted, as the Aztecs plated two in the bottom of the fifth to win by the score of 4-3.
