We sent four lovely ladies up to San Francisco this weekend to compete in St. Francis, North Designates! We chartered one boat with SFYC being amazing hosts. On Saturday, the wind was quite strong with lots of current to sail with. There were two races for each rotation completed, with 4 rotations total — ending Saturday with 4 races for A and 4 races for B. On Sunday, the wind had died down a little, but it was still quite shifty. RC had to move the course into the bay later, increasing the current in the water, but everything still went well. Rotation A sailed races 5-8, while B sailed races 5-7. It was a gorgeous weekend with St. Francis Yacht club being right between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
