The Tritons arrived on their home turf excited to compete against the Gauchos, as their games in the past were close, exciting matchups. The Tritons were the first to put up a goal, but UCSB quickly scored some of their own and put themselves in the lead. While UCSD had the desire to win and incredible effort, they unfortunately weren’t able to catch up to the Gauchos. Ultimately, UCSB came out on top. Heather Hirsch, Savannah Kezmoh, and Sabrina Forbes led the Triton attack with 2 goals each.
