The Tritons geared up on this fine Sunday morning to face Northern Arizona University for their Senior Day game. The Tritons quickly gained momentum during this game, scoring 6 goals by the end of the first quarter. But, they slowed down play for the remaining quarters to run strategic plays on the offense. The Tritons had 8 different goal scorers for this game: Sabrina Forbes with 5, Morgan Arrasmith with 3, Devynn Trang and Destiny Lewis with 2, and Brooklyn Nguyen, Grace Beatty, and Naomi Lee with 1. Of these goals, 8 were assisted– an exciting sign that the offense was working together during this game to find the back of NAU’s net. On the defensive end, Savannah Kezmoh, Destiny Lewis, Kayla Tracy, and Carol Wahba worked tirelessly to cause turnovers and get the ball back onto the offensive end. All in all, this game was an entire team effort with the Tritons working together on all ends of the field. After the game, the Tritons ended their morning on Muir Field by celebrating their seniors and their win over NAU.
