In an intense showdown, the USC Trojans snatched the league title from the UCSD Tritons in a game filled with turnovers, strategic plays, and a dramatic finish. The match kicked off with an electrifying start as UCSD's captain, Jackson Burchard, showcased his hard running and game sense. Within the first five minutes, Burchard capitalized on a quick tap penalty from Sam Fisher to score, setting an aggressive tone for the Tritons. This early lead, however, was just the beginning. Throughout the game, both teams faced challenges in maintaining possession, largely due to instability in the rucks. This resulted in numerous turnovers.
