UCLA won the toss and elected to bowl first. After losing Himanshu early, Parth (60 0ff 41) and Ishan (36 off 25)  stitched up a beautiful 100 run partnership. UCSD ended up scoring 129 in 15 overs. UCLA were off to a slow start thanks to Aditya and Parth who bowled tight overs. Pramesh bowled well in the middle overs picking crucial wickets. With UCLA needing 24 in 2 overs, Vishnu and Parth clutched up in the last 2 overs bringing UCSD home. UCSD won by 14 runs.
