3/1-3/3/24 - NSSA State Championships
The NSSA State Championships took place at a small Huntington Beach. On the first day, the waves started clean at 1-2 feet in the morning but deteriorated later. Despite challenges, the men's team made it to round 2. Our girls excelled with notable performances from Kalohe, the president, reaching the semi-finals, and Makena Burke winning the entire contest! This marks her third consecutive State Women's Championship. Noah Brown, our longboarder, also performed well, finishing 4th in the final despite challenging conditions. Despite adversity, the team exceeded expectations. Now, they're gearing up for the nationals in June at Salt Creek with high hopes.
