The Triton seniors played their final home game against The University of Arizona. UCSD kicked off the game with an early try made by Mia Taylor off of a cheeky chip and chase. The rest of the game was a closely contested game with impressive performances from Chantal Earl and Darya Massih who helped the tritons gain meters on both offense and defense. It was back and forth all game as UCSD and Arizona took turns scoring tries. Many players got to try out some new positions including a special appearance of Lina Luedi as prop. The man of the match was awarded to Alina Carino who made some amazing last ditch tackles which saved the team from several Arizona tries. Even after pushing Arizona off the Triton’s 22 on several occasions Arizona emerged on top with a final score of 23-43.
