This past Sunday, the Lady Tritons invited University of Notre Dame, San Diego State University, and UC Riverside to the Triton Pool to compete in a friendly round robin. The Tritons played as one team against the Leprechauns. In a swift first quarter, the Lady Tritons managed to score 3 points and held a great defensive line throughout the game. The Tritons were quick to recognize the Leprechaun’s sly movements and managed to steal the ball from them. UCSD took the win against UND with a score of 8-3. 

Next up, the Tritons played against their rivals, the Aztecs. In this round, A team members sat out to rest up and prepare for their upcoming tournament in San Jose. The B team held a strong defensive line against the Aztecs. Ultimately, the Tritons lost against the Aztecs in a battle of 2-8. 

The Lady Tritons are off this weekend to play against schools up in NorCal. During April 4th and 5th, they will be taking on the Southwest Division in their own pool.
