The San Diegans Take the SLAM to Claremont

The UCSD B team is on fire as they walked out of last weekend's tournament with their perfect record untouched. They came into the tournament hungry for victory as they had to prove that their hot streak wasn't just a fluke. After defeating LMU quite handily, the Tritons went in swinging against UCSB. They were relentless on offense and scrappy on defense, fighting for every ball. The two teams were neck and neck the whole time, but in the end, UCSD crushed the Gauchos in 2 sets. Claremont put up a fight, but the Slam Diegans were merciless and left no room for Claremont to gain an edge on them. In their last match against CSUN, the tritons were a bit complacent and let the guard down for a bit. In doing so, CSUN was able to take a set, which was a wake up call for UCSD. Infuriated with their loss, the Tritons turned on the jets and swung full force against the unsuspecting CSUN, winning the next 2 sets in a dominating fashion. The UCSD B team is currently 8-0 and looking to defend their record next week, playing at their home court.
