    Tritons Get Bit by Huskies

The series started with a ban/pick phase that favored University of Washington, where UCSD tried to ban out Attack Damage Carry (adc) picks for UW but in game this translated into only a slight advantage in the bottom side of the map while the UW Top Ornn and Braum Support created space for their squishier, easier to kill damage dealers to eventually take the game against UCSD. In the second game, UCSD managed to get a head start in the laning phase, before both teams start grouping together for large objectives, such as dragons, rift herald, or Baron Nashor. This laning advantage melted away as UW controlled the map, leading them to kill four dragons and claim the Infernal Soul for that map as well as ace UCSD in the Baron pit a little later. This led to a strong siege against the Triton base that all but left the nexus exposed, leaving UCSD wide open. However, they staved off the attacking Huskies successfully for an additional ten minutes, along with two Elder Dragon kills followed by an inhibitor push on bot lane. However, this pressure did not amount to enough as UW eventually rotated around enough to bait UCSD into thinking they were taking Baron when in reality, their team lie in the Fog of War waiting to backdoor UCSD’s exposed nexus, resulting in a 0-2 loss for the Tritons. UW is a tough opponent, and the Tritons are looking to go back on a winning streak to push for a spot in playoffs.
