This past weekend, the USCD Equestrian Show Team traveled to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank to compete in the final IHSA show of the season. It was a successful weekend, with Isabella Anderson taking first place in limit fences on our own Oliver and third on the flat, earning High Point Rider on Saturday. Maggie placed 5th in intermediate fences and Danielle Bisbee took home third in limit fences and fifth on intermediate flat. Ginevra received 2nd in pre novice flat. On Sunday, Danielle Bisbee got second over fences on Oliver and 4th in intermediate flat. Isabella Anderson got third in limit fences, and in limit flat, Isabella received second and Haley received reserve. There were two riders in pre novice flat on Sunday, Athena Allen and Ginevra Caswell, getting fourth and reserve respectively. In addition, the horses that we brought- Nobu, Poppy, and Oliver- were amazing for everyone that rode them and brought home winning rounds in almost all their categories. Overall, it was a great end to the IHSA show season. Shout out to our seniors, Danielle Bisbee and Maggie, our team captain, who competed in their last show this weekend!
