UCSD's first loss against UCI. UCSD'S bowlers did well to restrict UCI to a small total. Koushik and Ashar bowled decent spells to contribute to the good bowling performance of the team. The total should have been fairly easy to chase down but the openers lost their wickets early and the entire batting order collapsed to a score of 90. It was an embarrassing loss as the total was treated lightly and the batsmen did not have a good day in the field.
