The UCSD Dancesport started the year off with a very successful competition. New and returning members showed up to compete and to support their fellow teammates. When asked about their favorite part, many of the new members explained how exciting it was to see everyone get on the dance floor and showcase the skills they learn in class. One of the viewers said that now he is fired up to practice harder and compete next at Santa Barbara. As there were only a few couples on the floor at once, the whole team could cheer for them and often everyone shined more when they heard their names called out. It was impressive to see how well the new members did after only a month’s worth of lessons.
