UCSD A and B teams competed against several different Southern California schools at the UCSB Seaside Skirmish Tennis Tournament. On the first day, UCSD went 2-1 in the round-robin stage with a narrow loss by 2 games to UCSB, and a smooth victory against Cal Poly Pomona and Santa Clara. UCSD A team made it into the gold bracket for the second day of matches and was unfortunately eliminated by UCLA, losing by only 5 games.
