UCSD v CSU Fullerton
The Tritons started up this weekend to try to continue their streak this season by playing CSU Fullerton. The game started with a very structured offense from the Tritons as they stole the ball from the kickoff to Fullerton. The Tritons slowly made their way up to score a try by breaking through the defense with quick backs and running around the side. UCSD was on a roll and the first half had the Tritons move their way forward with stellar defense and an aggressive offense. The Tritons were able to score multiple times through their play while being structured against Fullerton. The second quarter had Fullerton come up to the plate, but the Tritons were able to maintain their defense the entire first half, but Fullerton was able to sneak out a score by intercepting a ball and scoring it at the end of the first half.
The second half of the game started just as hot as the first one. The Tritons were not stepping down and they kept marching up the field in quick succession through breaking lines and running around the defense. Fullerton was unable to catch up, but they were able to put down another score before UCSD winning the game 48-10. The Tritons have a streak going but the next game against Mira Costa Community College will be the difficult match coming up and all the hard work of the season comes down to winning against them.
