Excellent performance by UCSD.  This match was 25 overs as opposed to our regular 20 over matches.  UCSD batted first and stayed in the complete 25 overs. However, the score we put up was not nearly as high as we had hoped. We knew going into second innings that we would need to have a really strong bowling attack. All the bowlers were extremely disciplined and bowled according to their plans without falling to the pressure. The bowling was backed by incredible fielding which got us a key player run out giving us a massive advantage. We picked up early wickets and within the end of the power-play overs the game was ours to win. Within 12 overs UCI were 8 wickets down and eventually all out well before 25 overs for a massive victory. This game allowed a lot of the younger and less experiences players to get game experience.
