UCSD battled hard for their final game of the season, ending with a nail-biting 1-1 draw against CSU Fullerton. Despite playing on an atrociously maintained field, the Tritons successfully kept the ball moving and rolling and had the momentum ending the 1st half 0-0. However, after conceding an unlucky penalty kick in the second half, UCSD fought hard to get a goal back. With 15 minutes to spare, sophomore center back Collier Maruska masterfully heads the ball in from a lofted pass to tie the game up. With a final score of 1-1, your Tritons ends the season with 3 Wins, 0 Losses, and 3 Draws, resulting in a third straight undefeated league campaign, earning a second place spot in the league, and booking their ticket to the Regional Tournament.
