UC San Diego played their third and final home game of the season against USD. With another dominating start, UCSD goes up in the first half by 2 goals to zero, with a peach of a strike by Captain Kody Harris and a tough header by Rohan Oprisko, securing a halftime lead. The second half led to a very exciting match, with USD scoring off of a rare defensive mistake by the Tritons; however, UCSD fought hard and gained one back on the other end with rookie Jimmy Knights scoring a difficult volley to secure the win. USD did manage to score once more, with a bottom corner strike late in the second half; however, UCSD held on to the lead and secured a 3-2 win. UCSD has now extended their undefeated streak to 3 wins and is looking to bring the league title home after their next three matches.
