The SD Clasico came early during the Fall 2018 Season, with the Triton's playing their fierce rival San Diego State University for their second game of the season. Both sides were level and scoreless well into the match, although UCSD was dominating all over the pitch. The Triton's hard work and tenacity finally paid off when Captain Luca Scotzniovsky scored a 30-yard rocket midway into the second half. After dribbling passed two players, he lifted his head and hit a left-footed missile into the side netting that left the keeper stunned. The Triton's continued to dominate in every quadrant of the pitch for the full 90 minutes. With a final result of 1-0, the UCSD Men's Club Soccer team continued their undefeated streak into the season with their second win.
