The Tritons Conquer the Bruins!

It was perfect soccer weather last Sunday and the field was freshly mowed. Going into the game the Tritons knew they needed to win to have a chance to move onto regionals. The warm-up music was on point and it hyped up the whole team for an amazing game. At the start of the first half the Tritons came out strong getting the ball all the way down the field on the first play. Throughout the first half the play evened out and the Tritons needed a stern talking to from captians Kenzie and Rachel at half time. This really got the team fired up as they came out even harder the whole second half. 0-0 in the second half, pressure on. Tritons working the ball up the field soon found forward, Kenzie Kirn. She shook off several defenders and found fellow captain, Rachel Ng on the outside. Ng struck the ball so hard from outside the right side of the 18 yard box the UCLA goalie didn’t have a chance. The crowd went wild and the whole bench jumped up screaming. The Tritons held this lead for the rest of the game and drove back to San Diego with another win under their belt. Go Tritons.
