This past weekend, the UCSD Men’s Club Volleyball played against some of the top 8 teams in their pod. The Tritons faced off against UCSB-A , Long Beach State, UCLA and ASU. Against UCSB-A, UCSD took the W in two sets, largely due to their superior passing and serve receiving. Shortly after, UCSD then cruised to a victory against Long Beach State, and then proceeded to play UCLA, finally getting the better of the Bruins after losing to them in their first two meetings of the season. Emerging as victors from their pool, UCSD took to the court against ASU in the crossover match. The Tritons were unable to prevail though, as due to being burnt out after rigorous play they succumbed to defeat. All in all, it was a great weekend of play for the UCSD Men’s Club Volleyball team!
