11/6/22- UC San Diego vs Strikers

Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first on Muir Field. With excellent powerplay bowling by UCSD, Strikers found themself at 31/5 within the powerplay. Strikers batsmen managed to reduce the pressure and put away the bad balls to the boundaries, building up their run rate and getting to a score of 123 within their 20 overs, an excellent recovery from the powerplay. In their innings, UCSD began well with a score of 33/1 within the powerplay, scoring nearly at the required run rate. With a good bowling performance from the Strikers, the Strikers bowlers managed to get continuous wickets and defend 9 runs in the last two overs. It was a tough loss by 4 runs for UCSD, demanding a change in mindset and strategy within the UCSD camp.
