11/23/25 - UCLA Fall 2025 Invite
The final meet of the quarter brought the team to UCLA, where athletes competed against eight other universities, including UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Berkeley. The competition remained tight throughout the day, with several events decided by narrow margins. After a long and hard-fought battle across all races, the team accumulated 1,097.5 points—enough to claim 1st place overall and edge out UCLA by just 8 points. The meet highlighted both depth and strength across the roster, with standout performances throughout the lineup.
The team secured 1st-place finishes in an impressive twelve events. Victories included the Women’s 200 Medley Relay A team (Olivia Khan, Shreya Kashyap, Molly MacDonald, Emily Floyd) and the Men’s 200 Medley Relay A team (Conner Le, Lucas Kim, Jeremy Cheng, Tony Zheng), both of which opened the meet with momentum. Tony Zheng added another win in the 50 breaststroke, while Erin Swift claimed 1st in the 200 backstroke. Sonia Khan delivered exceptional speed with wins in both the 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly.
Additional top performances came from the Women’s 200 Free Relay A team (Molly MacDonald, Emily Floyd, Katherine Wu, Sonia Khan) and from Jeremy Cheng with a victory in the 50 butterfly. Itay Ben Yoseph took 1st in the 100 backstroke, and Jennifer Graves finished strong with a win in the 100 individual medley. Olivia Khan secured another major result by winning the 400 individual medley, showcasing endurance and versatility. To close out the meet, the Women’s 400 Freestyle Relay A team (Molly MacDonald, Annika Sawicki, Sasha Giuntoli, Emily Floyd) earned 1st place, sealing the team’s overall victory.
The meet served as an exciting and successful conclusion to the quarter, demonstrating strong progress, competitive depth, and promising momentum heading into future competitions.
