In an exciting game, UCSD defeated UCLA 3-0. The scoring started early, with senior Addy Rodriguez netting a goal off a penalty corner, assisted by senior captain Katie Balen. Balen then scored the second goal of the game in the first quarter, converting another penalty corner from the left post on an assist from senior captain Dillan Selitsch. Rodriguez added the final goal of the quarter—and the game—with a beautiful unassisted tomahawk. The Tritons played strong team hockey, showing great passing and chemistry, while keeping a clean sheet with no goals conceded!
