10/5/24 - Field Hockey Shuts Out USC!

In their first game of the season, the Tritons secured victory over USC with a final score of 3-0. In the first 4 minutes of the game, Katie Balen scored from Addy Rodriguez's assist in a short corner. The second goal was scored on a corner during the 3rd quarter, with Emma Brayton passing to Matilda Genevriere on the far post where she pulled right and scored! In the 4th quarter, with 7 minutes left, Matilda Genevriere scored her second goal of the game with a tip from Addy Rodriguez. The defense deserves special recognition for maintaining a clean sheet with zero defensive corners. This impressive win marks a fantastic start to the season!
