    10/29/24 - Fall Scrimmage vs 40 Thieves

In a close and hard-fought game, the UCSD Tritons went up against the 40 Thieves Lacrosse Club, ultimately coming up short by just three goals. Despite the loss, UCSD showed grit and resilience, especially with a strong second-half surge that brought them within striking distance.

The Tritons’ offense had an impressive day, with standout goals from Alex Franz, Austin Ortel, Gael Gonzalez, and Noah Skinner, proving their firepower against a seasoned 40 Thieves squad packed with ex-Division 1 talent. Facing such high-caliber opponents was a valuable experience for UCSD, helping the team identify areas for improvement while highlighting emerging talent.

As Fall Ball continues, UCSD’s focus remains on observing new players, learning, and shaking off the rust. Overall, it’s been a productive and promising fall season, with valuable insights gained in each matchup.
