The Tritons traveled up to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for the inaugural Mustang Showdown where a new race format was introduced: the super sprint triathlon. UCSD sent four athletes through the first round to the finals: Dmitry Major and Jacob Wolf for the men and Shaina King and Greta Feague for the women. Another incredible performance from Shaina led her to a 3rd place finish while Dmitry earned 5th, Greta 7th, and Jacob 8th. The Triton’s are building up momentum with consistent top-tier performances and getting prepared for the season ahead.
