The UC San Diego Gymnastics Team started the 2025 competition season off strong with Intrasquad on Sunday, January 26th. The mock meet featured impressive performances across eight events. Eight gymnasts debuted new floor routines, three showcased flipping vaults, and countless stuck the landing–whether on a dismount, a tumbling pass, or a celebratory jump with teammates after accomplishing difficult skills!

Among the competitors were new club members ranging from first years through third-year students. The team was excited to welcome and cheer on Alexa Reyes, Joey Ransdell, Kaitlyn Fong, Kayla Phillips, Liliana Echevarria, Mia Roe, Raina Eghbalyans, and Victoria Paulo. UCSD Club Gymnastics looks poised and strong going into the rest of the quarter, training to show off athletes’ hard work and talent at NAIGC Regionals in February!
