We sent 12 racers up to Santa Maria to compete in UCSB’s road race as well as Cal Poly SLO’s criterium. We had a strong showing with taking 2 1st place finishes and 3 2nd place finishes over the two days of racing. Elisa won the road race and placed second in the criterium, Dominic won the road race, Alessandro placed second in the road race, and Dennis placed second in the criterium. Everyone performed really well and gained valuable race experience as this was the first race of the season.
