    1/26-1/28/24 - Bellingham Weekend

    Game #1: 5-7 L

    Game #2: 0-5 L

The first game in Bellingham Washington saw UCSD play one of their closes games of the season thus far, putting up five goals. UCSD offense was clicking all night, getting chances frequently and capitalizing. WWU did not go down easy however, putting up seven of there own, responding every time UCSD scored, and finally getting an empty netter with a pulled goalie at the end of the game. The Tritons returned to the hotel ready for the next day when another game might bring more bounces their way.

Unfortunately, WWU came out swinging on their senior night, resulting in a 5 to nothing loss for the Tritons, flying home defeated after their last league game of the season. In all the periods, the Tritons tried to keep morale high, motivating each other that this game was within their reach, that they could beat this team. However, the bounces simply didn't go their way and they succumb again.

The UCSD Ice Hockey team looks forward to a clean slate in the 2024-2025 season, and look forward to proving themselves to be the team they believe they are.
