1/25/25 - Tritons Lose Against Washington
UCSD would be at a disadvantage from the starting puck drop with only 10 skaters. In spite of this, the Tritons would put up a strong defense against a full UW team, only allowing 2 goals in the first period and 2 goals in the second period. However, in the third the Tritons would finally begin to run low on energy, allowing 5 goals against in the period. In spite of the 9 goals against, goaltender Isaac Laddon stood on his head, stopping 68 of 77 shots. Junior Peter Dukakis would score the only Triton goal late in the third on the powerplay from seniors Reece Wissmueller and Nicholas Goutzioulis as the Tritons fall 9-1.
