The Tritons looked forward to facing their SoCal Rivals, the USC Trojans. Often a well-matched and competitive game between the two teams, UCSD was locked and loaded for a great game. However, these hopes did not materialize this time around, trailing in the first, second, and third, and unable to put any point up against a hot USC goalie. The final result was USC up by 8 and the Tritons looking forward to the next game the following day to tie up the double header and reclaim some SoCal glory.
