UCSD Tritons battled UC Davis in their first game back after winter break. The game was played after just one Tuesday practice. To start off, the tritons played well individually but were ultimately snakebitten in many of their prime scoring chances. The Aggies defense stood strong to stave off the Tritons' high-octane offense, which was rewarded with six goals on the night, four of which came off the sticks of Alexei Davis and Nick Goutzioulis, each netting two. Davis potted ten of their shots to take the Friday night win over the Tritons, 10-6. Despite the shortcoming, the Tritons fought well and will have many more opportunities in the future to show the efforts of their hard work.
