An eventful game with a lot of standout players from UCSD. UCSD were put into bowl first and were clinical, restricting Marty's XI to 146 runs in 25 overs. Standout performances were from Kaushal Guntur (4-0-29-3) and Aman Sethia (3-0-7-3), who both picked up their first wickets for UCSD in this game. We look forward to seeing how they grow as players in this club. As far as batting goes, UCSD was able to comfortably chase this target set with standout performances from Raunak Saluja (33 of 15), Abhishek Santhanam (57 of 20), and Vishnu Babu Guturu (25 of 17). Notably, Abhishek was able to get the fastest 50 for UCSD in the history of the club (50 of 14). Overall, it was a great effort from the boys. However, with nationals coming up, there are still a lot of things to work on to prepare for this tournament.
