Knock Around Camps are only available for purchase to families that are included in the 2025 pre-registration lottery from February 17th until March 3rd. Registration will open to the community on Monday March 3rd at 12:00pm. If you are included in the pre-registration lottery you will be contacted with your specific registration date.

Knock Around Camp wait lists will open to lottery families on Friday February 28th at 12:00pm. Wait lists will be available to all others when registration opens on Monday March 3rd at 12:00pm

HOW TO REGISTER

In Summer 2024 we instituted an online registration system that allows parents to register their children directly through our website, and we will be continuing this system in 2025 – no more submitting an interest form! The new system shows, in real time, which camps have space and will allow parents to add their families to the wait lists of full programs. Each priority group will register in a group based on their family’s past attendance and/or lottery number. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis within each registration day. If you are entered into the lottery you will be contacted directly with your registration day.
 
*Important: Please log in to your UCSD Recreation account using your Single Sign On/Active Directory credentials (UCSD affiliates) or community log in (non-affiliates) to confirm your campers are added as dependents to your profile. UCSD affiliates already have a Recreation profile. Once logged in navigate to your profile at the top right of the page, then click “add family member” towards the bottom of your profile. If your camper did not attend in summer 2024 please email us their member ID number, regardless of past attendance from 2023 or earlier. The member ID can be viewed by clicking the drop down “viewing as” menu and clicking on the dependent, their member ID will be displayed below their name, beginning with the letter “M”. If your family is considered UCSD affiliated but a non-affiliated partner will be registering your child(ren) please ensure their name is listed under the family members section to guarantee you receive affiliate pricing. We must have this information by February 14th if you want to be included in this year’s priority camp registration. 

Registration will begin for our very first group of priority parents on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 and continue from there. 
 
Refunds & Transfers: 
Our refund/transfer policy has been updated to align with pricing of individual camps instead of a flat fee. Refund requests made 6 weeks or more prior to the start of the session being dropped will receive 90% of their registration fees back, requests made between 4 and 6 weeks prior will receive a 75% refund, and requests made between 2 and 4 weeks prior will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be offered for requests made less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session. Transfers will incur a $40 fee per camp transfer, per session, per camper.
