The UCSD Equestrian Team is a part of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and our team of roughly 25 girls competes throughout our fall and winter season to quality for Regionals, Zones, and ultimately Nationals. We compete in Zone 8 Region II, against such schools as USC, UCLA, USD, Pomona College and Cal Poly Pomona, to name a few.

Our team is divided into two parts: English and Western. Our English riders compete from the Walk Trot division to the Open 3’3 division, and our Western riders ride from Walk Jog to Open Reining. Our home shows are held at such venues as Showpark in Del Mar, Rancho El Camino, and Ride America. The UCSD Equestrian Team has sent riders to nationals every year without fail since our inception.
