Are you new, incoming student to UCSD and want to meet lifelong friends before the school year even starts? Are you adventurous and outdoorsy too? Well check out Wilderness Orientation (WO)! With Wilderness Orientation, you can take trips dedicated to surfing, canoeing, backpacking, camping, and so much more! Trips take place in August or September depending on which one you choose and last anywhere from 5 to 9 days. WO is a great way to meet people who also love the outdoors, bond with them on the trip, and come to UCSD in September already knowing some friendly faces on campus. Experience is not necessary! Your guides will help you learn the skills you need, and maybe you can even transfer those skills to when you start exploring the area around UCSD too!
