Are you an experienced Dyno climber? Or do you have no clue what Dyno climbing even is? Either way, you should come out and compete/watch the Dyno Competition at Outback Adventures Climbing Center on November 10th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm!
Dyno is a move in rock climbing where both your hands and feet leave the wall to get to the next hold. In this Dyno Competition, there will be 12 climbs. Each one will have assigned point values depending on the difficulty and the goal is to do the most climbs and earn the most points before falling 3 times.
It is a $10 participation fee for UCSD students and $15 for community… but is completely free to watch! Participants should bring climbing shoes and chalk, along with a brush made for bouldering if owned. Prizes will be gear from Hippy Tree and Madrock, and Adidas Outdoor and Adventure 16 will be selling gear at discounted prices!
Grab your gear and register online now! For more information about the Outback Climbing call (858) 822-1996 or email climbingcenter@ucsd.edu.
