Challenge Course Directions & Map
There is NO parking at the Challenge Course site. Make sure to add enough time to cover your walk to and from the challenge course. Please carefully read all parking signs and any information on paper receipts or permits to understand the correct spots to park in, as the spots and lots occasionally change. Parking officials are very diligent.
Parking option 1 -For the Sanford Consortium Lots (East Lot P385 and West Lot P384) - make an immediate right turn into first driveway off of Torrey Pines Scenic Dr. Then turn into the parking lot on your right. Please read all parking signs and both sides of your parking permit carefully.
Parking option 2- For the SuperSaver Lot P386 after you turn right onto Torrey Pines Scenic Drive, continue west to second driveway on the right side. Make a right turn and continue to back of lot. At the end of the lot, you will make a left turn onto a graveled lot, look for the Lot P386 sign and follow any parking instruction prompts.
Walk out of the parking area towards Torrey Pines Dr. and make a left walking toward the corner of N. Torrey Pines Scenic Dr and Torrey Pines Dr.
Once at the corner make another left and continue walking north towards UCSD Northpoint Driveway.
When you arrive at the stoplight on UCSD Northpoint Driveway, cross the street heading towards Hopkins Dr.
At the top of the hill, cross the street at the stop sign, so that you are on the same side as Triton Track & Field Stadium. Not the same side of the road as the large playing field. Please make sure to cross the road as indicated in the picture, as there is NO safe crossing near the stairs to the challenge course entrance.
Continue walking along the track and at the bottom of the hill, you will see a sign for the challenge course. A course facilitator should be there to greet you. If needed, they will be able to direct you nearest restrooms which are porta potties that are located behind the gate on Spanos field.
This is the top of the staircase entrance to the course. Feel free to walk down on your own, if there is not a course facilitator to greet you. Follow the trail to the challenge course facility, which will be located on the right side of the path.
