It takes hundreds of dedicated employees to support the amazing programs, classes and activities that make up UC San Diego Recreation. More than 500 people are employed annually. The variety of positions is vast. We employ everything from Lifeguards, to sports officials, ballroom dance instructors to marketing assistants and sales representatives to wilderness guides. A job with Recreation is a convenient, fun and rewarding on-campus employment opportunity. Hours are often flexible and can usually be tailored to meet your needs.

For current UC San Diego registered students, you can view any open jobs on the Handshake portal, and search for Recreation. You can also find out about future opportunities by contacting any of the Recreation program areas.
