The Tritons travelled to Bakersfield to take on the CSULB Roadrunners. Bakersfield jumped out to a 3-2 lead for a majority of the game. The resilient Tritons were able to regroup and poured in 4 pucks to the back of the net in the final period. With the game in hand, The Bakersfield fans voiced their displeasure towards the Tritons in a vulgar, classless manner. Ian Rebmann, one of the leaders of the team, led by example and kept the team focused on the game rather than the rowdy fans.
