Winter break started off to a great start for the UCSD Surf Team with a road trip up to Santa Cruz. The Lane was pumping on day one with overhead sets coming through all day. Many team members made it through to rounds two and three.

The next day, surf was smaller but still very rippable. Most of the team was eliminated except for Northern California powerhouse Skyla Bertsch. She ended up blowing her way through the quarters and semis and into the final. Our very own Skyla Bertsch took home 4th place in her very first final finish. Go Skyla!
